Thank godness for lentil burgers!
This morning I had my oatmeal again but it just didn’t do it for me.
I really enjoyed my lentil burgers for lunch today – I toasted them in my panini press and then put 1/2 ripe avocado on top (Delicious)!
For snacks I had an orange and an apple.
I had to play hockey tonight so I had to finish the leftovers from the slow cooker last evening.
After my hockey this evening, I made some fresh pasta with the whole-wheat flour bought yesterday (only $0.29 / 100 g – total $0.67), and it turned out great.
I made this in advanced because tomorrow night I can use this in a casserole or pasta dish.
At the grocery store today I saw some ground beef on sale and I was tempted (it would go well with my pasta), I am thinking up how to use the remaining budget.
I received good feedback on the canned salmon (everything to make salmon cakes or a bake), I just can’t get over the texture.
Any suggestions on something frugal to pair with the pasta (I have the canned tomatoes, lentils). ?
