After a week of Christmas baking and rich treats I need to take a break from all that good stuff. This week’s menu is slightly geared towards detoxification! Not an extreme detox obviously I’m pregnant just clearing of all the sugar, butter, and caffeine.
I’ve selected more fruits, bran and spinach this week. Believe it or not in my home we love our greens especially spinach. I even have a stockpile of frozen spinach in the freezer. The recipes I have chosen are exceptionally healthy to assist with clearing the body of the evil thing called… SUGAR!
To start the week is a chicken roast (no butter) just garlic and herbs using half a cup of water in the roaster with veggies. Chicken roasts are a great way to start the week off because you have all that leftover chicken for sandwiches, salads and you can use the bones for broth.
Throughout the week I will post the recipes for some of these great meals, so revisit this post. I can assure you will not be disappointed.
