By far lasagna is one of my favorite dishes and now it can easily be prepared at the last minute. I cheated this time around by using a little Hamburger Helper and created one of my all time favourite dish in under 15 minutes.
Check it out. I cooked the Canadian ground beef in a large T-Fal nonstick skillet over medium to high heat for 8 minutes and broke the beef into small chunks until it was browned and completely cooked.
Then I drain out any fat that had cooked. Next I mixed in 3.5 cups of hot water and the lasagna sauce mix along with the uncooked pasta. I allowed it too cook for 8 minutes and then let if simmer again for an further 8 minutes.
Meanwhile I washed the dishes tidied the kitchen and set the table. I then grated some mozzarella cheese and allowed it to melt before serving. Talk about a quick lasagna, easy peazy. It is so simple even your teenagers can make this at home. Easy, cheap, tasty and child proof meal, what more could you ask for?
