Xootr kick scooter – Product review

We have more choices than ever before when it comes to travelling from point A to point B. Here is another option to consider that is fun to ride and an eco-friendly way to get around on my own. Check out the Xooter Mg I got or Christmas!

My husband rides a bike to work everyday and I will often throw the kids in the trailer to get around locally too but check out my new xootr-kick-scooter. I was sent the Xootr Mg kick scooter for review just before Christmas. The scooter is great for getting around in the city or shorter distances.  You certainly don’t need to worry about parking or traffic. Since the Xootr scooter folds down it’s extremely connivence to collapse and take indoors. No need to worry about where to lock it or worry about taking it inside with you. In fact one of the greatest benefits other than it’s speed is how easily it fits into a suitcase for travel.

The Xooter features an all solid magnesium comfortable wide deck making it light weight. It has ultra low resistance polyurethane tires for a super efficient glide and the handlebar is adjustable to your height. That means it’s good for short people, young people as well as kids and old people. It comes in three different colours and Xooter offers six different models. It is sleek and modern looking making it a great gift idea.

I’m frugal so of course I’m going to tell you that it comes with a higher price tag (for a scooter) however Xooter parts are easily replaceable so if anything goes wrong you can order parts without any hassles. I received  Xooter MG model which is the most advanced scooter. It retails for $269 not so bad if you’re comparing it to the cost of parking in the city and high costs that come with buying and maintaining bicycles.

The added advantage of owing a high quality scooter versus biking is that some bikes are not allowed on public transit where the Xooter folds up nicely and allows you to take it with you wherever you go.  The disadvantage of the Xooter is that it’s more for shorter distance rather than far distances.

Travel faster and further than walking, save money, live  healthier and be more eco-friendly sums up my opinion of the Xooter Mg.
