cmjtransparentweb-300x194We did a product review of a piggy bank like device, called the Moonjar, that helps teach children how to handle money.  It allows children to separate and store their money into 3 compartments; spending, savings, and sharing.  I think that this product is great for kids as both an educational and financial tool.

My wife and I grew up working hard by delivering papers. It was important to save  a little, and spend a little. This tool takes it one step further and shows children the value of giving. This gets overlooked often.

There are 3 individual compartments in the Moonjar that remind us of the choices we can make with our money. One each for: Saving, Spending and Sharing.

It teaches children great discipline and it is very easy to use and it up to the parents on how they want to show their children how to use the tool!

I really like the lesson that the Moonjar teaches.

It has won a pile of awards so I am not the only person that believes it is great.

Here is the YouTube video review that we recorded.
