I am sure you would like to know what a soapnut is? Here is a closeup.

This is an interesting organically certified product straight from the mountains of Nepal that aids in cleaning. We used this to clean some laundry and were impressed that it did a great job with no suds in the laundry.

A few interesting tidbits:

  • They are a 100% natural product without any harsh chemicals.
  • The company is based in Upsula, Ontario
  • They are natural and chemical free they are gentle on your skin and clothes. Soapnuts are actually recommended for sensitive skin, allergy and eczema sufferers.
  • Soapnuts will leave your clothes soft and fresh, without the use of any fabric softeners.

Personally, I really liked the product and admired the low impact on the environment these have. With the reuse of the soapnuts, you can save money on laundry products! I still have to try these with a dirty load of laundry as the ultimate test.

Here is the news about the giveaway:

Superior Soapnuts has graciously offered 1 lucky person 500 g of soapnuts. This would last a long time based on the estimate use of each soapnut.
