We are so grateful for having some wonderful readers and we would love for you to win some cash to make your Mother’s Day extra special!
We have teamed up with some amazing bloggers across North America to offer this $300 Mother’s Day Cash Giveaway!
According to Wikipedia, Mother’s Day is a celebration honouring mothers and celebrating motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in society.
Mother’s Day in Canada is celebrated on the second Sunday in May (it is not however, a public holiday or bank holiday), and typically involves small celebrations and gift-giving to one’s mother, grandmother, or other important female figures in one’s family. Celebratory practices are very similar to those of other western nations, such as Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
What would you do with the $300 Cash?
- A new wardrobe or outfit?
- A spa day?
- Enroll in a new class or course?
- Take a family away for the weekend?

Since my own Mother has passed away, I find Mother’s Day is a tough day to get through. Fortunately I have a person in my life that has been like a Mother to me in every way, and has helped me tremendously to get through some pretty dark days. I would love to be able to spend the money on her, and to show her how much I appreciate all she has done for me.
I would spend the money on a shopping experience shared by and with my mother via Etsy!
I would put the money towards our family summer vacation fund!
I would spend it on my family…having a fun mini day-trip somewhere.
I would love to get my hair done and get some nice summer clothes.
My kids and I have had a tough year, lost our Nan in July…we would do something in her memory for mother’s day, plant that tree we talked about followed by a nice dinner together, she would of wanted us to be together.
I would use the $$$ for a fun family weekend in Vancouver or Seattle.
I’d put it towards our garden. We really want to build another veggie garden bed this year, and we need a wheelbarrow to do it! That way we could all dig into the project and get some more great dinners out of it.
Mother & daughter roadtrip!!! Oh, yeah!!
For sure a spa day!!
I would spend the money on some type of home decor as we are currently doing some major renovations on our house and it will have to be prettied up.

Dilara,
This is a great idea!
I would take a trip to visit my Mom with my children.
I would spend some on my daughter to have some mommy daughter days. I am sure my little man would have some spent on him and I would book myself a spa or some tanning (relax time).
I would probably take care of back bills and spend the rest on fixing my cell phone, which I broke and can’t afford to fix or replace. Finally, I would probably buy my puppy a little treat.
Hmm, I would love to pamper myself a bit, get my hair and nails done etc. In reality though I would probably buy things my baby girl needs and get a babysitter so that my boyfriend and I can go out for a nice romantic dinner and just relax.
my sister just had her baby (Connor Patrick) this past Friday the 13th after a long and stressful deal with fertility clinics which included many many dissapointments so I would take her shopping and then to the spa for some well earned down time for herself
Tracy,
That is so generous of you. What a great gift!
I would take my best girlfriend for a spa date and then take my son and husband for a nice dinner out.
I would use the money to bring my son and daughter home, with their new baby, so that I could spend a weekend with all of my seven sons, when my son, who works in Britain, is here.
I would take my Mom and Grandma to Banff for the day. Along with my son we would have four generations. My Grandma is 94 and this could be her last Mother’s Day and the end of another generation as she is the last.
what a lovely giveaway! I would def. take a day and go to a hair salon and spa .. get the works! I would have to have a stingy day lol .. it’s just one day of the year right??!!
to help my daughter and her family get through the rough spots
As we’ve bought a few clothes lately I would take my sweetie on a week-end vacation, away from the finicky weather we’ve been having. A nice pool and spa would be nice for a couple of days.
I would use it to buy some groceries for my family and some much needed clothing for me.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. I have 5 children, so it would be great to be able to take everyone out for a family dinner :)
I would spend it on a much needed camping trip away with my family. It would cover the gas and extra yummy snacks and mommy would get a much needed getaway. Thanks for the amazing giveaway!!
I would spend it with my almost 3 year old daughter and go have manicure. she really loves to have her nails painted and then my boyfriend and are daugter we could go eat at a restaurants. p.s: thanks for this giveaway
I would love to say I’d take that money and go blow it all on myself, but in reality I know I’d probably spend it all on my 2 babies. That’s always the way of the Mommy, right? Maybe if I really won, I’d take the money and go away to someplace fun with the family, so we’d all get something out of it!
