Bonnie hubby just got back from trying to get me some more dishwasher soap (finish) at London Drugs. They have received a memo from Finish stating that the they are not to stack their coupons anymore. Hubby was shown the memo.
Not sure exactly where you're located & which LD you shop at, but stacking anything at LD is getting to be more challenging every day and many of us who shop there figure stacking is pretty much a thing of the past. You're lucky you got the Finish that late in December as that memo came out on Dec. 13 if I'm not mistaken! No more stacking on Finish, Scrubbing Bubbles, Snuggle & Splenda are the ones I know for sure through my own experience or friends. Dove & Aveeno I've read about elsewhere. Ummm, if the coupon says cannot be combined with any other offers & the item happens to be on sale - no coupons. No internet coupons over $3 (1 store will adjust the coupon to $3, the other store won't take them at all). The Heritage location was taking internet coupons over $3, but only if the managers approved them. I was also shown the email that your hubby probably saw & there were quite a few new restrictions.
That is the one I shop at too. I really like that location as they are very nice and polite. I have told them I am new to couponing and they are always quick to help out. Thank you for the list of products I will have to write it down so I don't forget.
The Heritage store? That's the one I usually go to as I live really close by. But 130th is more lenient when it comes to PM'ing (which I generally don't do because it's such a pain). The Manager at Heritage is awesome & totally approachable when you have questions. One of the Asst. Mgrs doesn't like coupons & he especially dislikes stacking & while he's never been rude to me, I know others have had run-ins with him. In fact, I've really only ever had issues with 1 gal behind the desk at any of the LD's & it just seemed to be my "luck" that she was working just about every time I went in. She was really nice to me the last time I saw her tho, but the Store Mgr. was right beside her LOL.
Now the Walmart down the road (McLeod Trail) I sometimes have issues with. Seems like a few of them have not been trained on coupons and have to call managers over for them (usually if it is a free product coupon). I also find they make me unpack my bags to show them the products I have bought match the coupon.... I give them my coupons at the beginning hoping to prevent that but alas never does
