National Donut Day is on the first Friday of June each year. Many American donut shops offer free donuts on National Doughnut Day.
Why is their no National Donut Day in Canada? We all love donuts as much as our neighbours in the US!
Here are some facts about how much we love donuts in Canada:
- Tim Hortons has over 3,000 shops in Canada – they have so many they need an app called TimmyMe, to help Canadians find their closest Tim Hortons!
- Tim Hortons has outlets located on, at least, seven Canadian Forces Bases.
- Tim Hortons alone sells 20 varieties of donuts – this doesn’t include their Timbits.
If you are a fan of donuts and would like to see this annual event in Canada – please like, share, and tweet this phrase so we can politely ask Tim Hortons to give us this day once a year where we can celebrate the donut!
If you are a website owner, please add this HTML code to bring awareness to the petition.
